Exclusive Timber raft

- on the river Klarälven in Sweden.

This adventure in Sweden´s most southerly wilderness is for you who are looking for an exclusive and unique experience in the nature. Sometimes adventurous, but not dangerous. The nature itself offer most of the adventures and you have to be prepared of all kind of weather. You will build your own timber raft out of logs and ropes and go down the river. You will take an active part in the cooking, but every evening you will be served a delicious dinner in a camp prepared over open fire except the last night which will be a dinner at the hotel. You spend the nights in tent and one night at hotel. Means of transport is the timber raft you have built yourself, drifting on the river Klarälven at a speed of about 2 Km per hour.

Departures 2013: Tuesdays in June and August.

Meeting: 17 h in Gunnerud, about one hours drive north of Karlstad.

Price: SEK 11.920/adult, SEK 9.520/child 3-15 years. (VAT, 25% is included).

Minimum: 2 adults/booking and raft.

Timber raft tour exclusive includes: Guide during the whole trip, timber raft-material, basic-, kitchen- and sleeping equipment and a canoe per timber raft. Three nights in prepared camps along the river, in tent (maximum of two persons/tent), one night in double room at hotel, local transport, full pension where you take part in preparing some meals.
