Basic equipment, timber raft, includes: Logs, ropes, life-ring, paddle, pole, life-jacket, tarpaulin, plate for spirit stove, first aid kit, bucket, garbage sacks, toilet paper, toilet spade, fresh water container, topographical map, storage box, canoe (Canadian or sit-on-top kayak), information and instructor during the building time, one night in own tent in Gunnerud and one night at Klarälvens Camping. Transport of the guests and their equipment from Gunnerud to the building place is also included in the price, except large and bulky items such as kayaks/canoes.
A canoe, either a Canadian canoe or a sit-on-top-kayak (without extra seats on the picture!), is part of the basic equipment. Which type of canoe you get is depending on what is in stock at the site where you build your timber raft.
Kitchen equipment, timber raft, includes: Hurricane stove with gas (includes kettle, pots and pan), mug, plate, knife, fork, spoon, kitchen knife, chopping board, frying spatula, cheese slicer, whisk, tin- and bottle-opener, potato-peeler, washing-up bowl, dish-washing-sponge, washing-up liquid, kitchen roll, matches. Everything is packed in a storage box.
When booking kitchen equipment, all participants on the same raft must choose the same equipment.
The type of tent we rent is of the model Hilleberg Nallo. The tent interior dimensions (sleeping surface) are 210 cm wide and 220 cm long. The tent is designed for four people, but our experience is that it feels crowded. If you are four adults, we recommend two tents.
Note! No dogs or other animals are allowed in our tents.
