In this way you don&#8217;t must go home late at night. Bring mosquito repellent and binoculars on the trip. Sometimes the beavers are difficult to spot when only their heads are visible during aswim in the river. Spotting the mosquitoes, however, is usually not a problem, especially during times when there are a lot of mosquitoes.<br><strong>Hiking:<\/strong> Bring bath clothes to hikes at Femt\u00e5n and at Brattfallet. A dip in the cold water is a refreshing highlight after a challenging hike. The beavers are most active during dusk\/night\/dawn and to increase the chance of seeing beavers, we are out when it starts to get dark and onwards. Several of them are classified as demanding, but with normal fitness and mobility there are no problems to hike the trails. The trails are mostly on paths where there are stones and roots in some parts. Most trails also involve some height differences. In \u201cF\u00e4nstj\u00e4rnsskogen\u201d there is a hut that is open to everyone. At \u201cBrattfallet\u201d there is a rest area with several tables, and along the trail \u201cHalg\u00e5leden\u201d there is a wind shelter. Along the trails on \u201cHovfj\u00e4llet\u201d, there are rest areas with tables and on the trail \u201cTorprundan\u201d you will pass a croft where you also will find an outhouse. At Femt\u00e5n you will find a nice hiking trail. If you are lucky you can taste &#8220;Motti med fl\u00e4sk&#8221;, a traditional meal that a local community association offers on certain evenings during summer.<\/p>\n<p>However, if you turn a little to the <strong>Northeast<\/strong>, you quickly reach the F\u00e4nstj\u00e4rnsskogen nature reserve, which is a real old-growth forest and one of the most valuable in Central Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>Head <strong>Southwest<\/strong> when you are on your way to Hovfj\u00e4llet.
