Fishing Center becomes reception
All of you who have visited Klarälven Camping in previous summers will notice a big change at check-in. For many years, we had a small space in the service building that served as both reception and kiosk.
We have now purchased the building that previously housed the Fishing Center and moved both the reception and the kiosk there. We are very happy to be able to use this large, beautiful building, showcase an interesting exhibition, and offer a cup of coffee in a pleasant setting. Welcome in!
Pleasant for Guests
Our new reception building offers more than just check-in for cabins or the campsite. Here, you can explore an exhibition about the Klarälven River and its importance to both wildlife and people. Take a seat on the veranda with a cup of coffee or an ice cream and enjoy the moment.
This is also where you can get help with any questions about timber rafting or canoe trips. You’ll find sweets, charcoal for grilling, fishing permits, and other essentials available for purchase. We also provide information about activities at Klarälven Camping and in the surrounding area.
It’s a lovely place to spend your holiday.
Pleasant for Staff
Of course, it’s not only you as our guests who should enjoy your time at Klarälven Camping. The new building also provides more space for our staff. Here, we can use a small demo raft to explain to our guests how a timber rafting trip on the Klarälven works. During beaver safari introductions, we can make use of the exhibition’s versatile materials.
This is also where we connect with guests—whether they are staying at the campsite, looking for an exciting experience, buying ice cream or fishing permits, or exploring the exhibition.

At our campsite, we offer three different types of cabins. You can stay in simple log cabins or choose a more comfortable option with a private toilet and shower. There are also pitches for motorhomes and caravans, a tent area—and of course—easy access to exciting adventures like timber rafting, canoe trips, beaver safaris, and more.
