Ecotourism

There is, unfortunately, no global definition of the term nature tourism. In Sweden, it is most commonly described as activities, accommodation, meals, and other tourism services where the nature experience itself is the main focus (National Nature Tourism Strategy, 2018). This means that all packaged activities offered by Vildmark i Värmland fall under the category of nature tourism.

Beyond that, we have chosen to take it a step further and become an ecotourism company, certified with the Nature’s Best label.
