Ecotourism

There is, unfortunately, no global definition of the term nature tourism. In Sweden, it is most commonly described as activities, accommodation, meals, and other tourism services where the nature experience itself is the main focus (National Nature Tourism Strategy, 2018). This means that all packaged activities offered by Vildmark i Värmland fall under the category of nature tourism.

In addition, we have chosen to go one step further and, through the Nature’s Best certification, become a company that works with ecotourism.
