Travel conditions Klarälvens Camping

Vildmark I Värmland, the company that owns and operates Klarälvens Camping, is a privately owned Swedish company that organizes timber rafting, canoeing and other outdoor experiences for individuals, companies and groups. Vildmark i Värmland with its legal name, Värmlands Vildmarksarrangör VIV AB (Org.nr. 556590-4371), is the responsible organizer. Address: Röbjörkeby 7, SE-685 92 Torsby.

Booking

Accommodation is booked online. The person responsible for booking and payment is hereinafter referred to as the guest. The guest must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for providing Vildmark i Värmland with accurate booking- and contact details via the online booking. Any changes or cancellations must be made by the guest. The invoice is the agreement between the guest and Vildmark i Värmland. It must contain the booked accommodation, the time of the accommodation and any other conditions agreed with Vildmark i Värmland in connection with the booking. The guest who makes the booking is responsible for reviewing the invoice, as well as for immediately reporting any inaccuracies. The agreement is confirmed by the guest paying the amount shown on the invoice to Vildmark i Värmland within the specified time. Online booking (subject to availability) via www.vildmark.se can be made up to approx. one day before arrival. If the booking is made closer than one day ahead of arrival, when it is not possible to book online, there is of course no cost to use our manual service.

Payment

Payment is primarily made by credit card and the booking is contracted as soon as the payment is made, provided the booking fulfil the conditions laid down applicable to the accommodation. Otherwise the guest is contacted as soon as possible, or latest within three days from when the booking is made so that it can be corrected. The total price is to be paid no later than eight days before arrival. Payment can also be made to Vildmark i Värmland’s bank account.

Cancellation

Cancellation is to be made by the guest to Vildmark i Värmland’s office, via phone at +46 560-140 40 (if the office isn’t open, leave a message on the answering machine) or via e-mail at info@ vildmark.se. Cancellation 8 days prior to arrival day or earlier is free of charge. This is valid for bookings of single cabins (not valid for groups or cabins included as part of an event). If the cancellation is made within 7 days before arrival day, the full amount is charged.

Booking alteration

Modification of date is considered a cancellation and will be treated as one. Contact Vildmark i Värmland via e-mail or phone.

Cancellation insurance

When booking an accommodation, a common cancellation insurance per cabin can be signed. This will protect the guest from cancellation fees if the accommodation is cancelled due to one of the following reasons:
a) Severe disease, accident or case of death that affect the guest, a close relative to the guest, or if the person travelling with the guest has cancelled due to one of the reasons given above.
b) Other unpredictable incident that affects the guest of such magnitude that the guest could not attend the reserved event, such as a fire accident in the home.
The accommodation must be cancelled before 15.00 on the day of arrival for the cancellation protection to apply. The guest may either receive the full amount paid back minus the handling charge (100 SEK/cabin) and the cancellation insurance cost (95 SEK/cabin), or the proposition of rendering the same or similar stay at Klarälvens Camping at another given time (the next season at the latest, however this does not imply on single travellers that are part of a group).
Certificate from doctor or Insurance Company must be presented within 10 days after the cancellation was made. The certificate must indicate why the guest should not attend the booked journey.

Guest´s responsibility

1) General

Being able to receive important messages at the phone number or e-mail address provided when making the reservation. Check the confirmation invoice to assure that it contains the correct information. Errors shall be pointed out promptly. The guest will inform his/her fellow travelers about what has been booked and the conditions for the event. Please have an insurance that would cover any possible damage that can occur to the accommodation and equipment at Klarälvens Camping.

2) At accommodation

Smoking is prohibited in all cottages, rooms and other buildings. Breaking this rule leads to a fine of 1000 SEK/accommodation. The guests bring their own bed linen if this hasn’t been rented when booking. The guest should clean the cottage if no cleaning services have been booked the day before arrival, at the latest. If the cottage is not cleaned a fine of 1000 SEK/ cottage will be charged. All keys to rented cottage are to be returned at departure. Lost keys will be debited with 600 SEK/each. The guest is responsible for any damage that occurs onto the property and its furniture if the guest and his fellow travelers have been careless. In the cottage no unauthorized people are allowed to live, only the amount of people that was provided when booking. Between 22.30 and 06.30 the guest is to observe the utmost account and silence, due to other guests in the area. If complaints about disorder are filed from other guests to Vildmark i Värmland, we have the right to execute an immediate eviction of the guest if correction is not made instantly when ordered to. No refund is available for any remaining period of residence.

Organizer´s responsibility

When the full payment for the accommodation has been received, Vildmark i Värmland will provide the guest with more information concerning the accommodation and stay. Vildmark i Värmland reserves the rights to alter an accommodation due to external factors we can’t control.

Consumer complaints

Any eventual complaints about the accommodation have to be presented immediately by the guest to Vildmark i Värmlands office by phone +46 560-140 40 or to the reception at Klarälvens Camping. It is important that the guest communicates these complaints immediately so that Vildmark i Värmland has the opportunity to solve the issue as soon as possible. If the guest has failed to express his/her complaint we cannot offer compensation. If the guest still isn’t pleased with the solution or the compensation provided, a written complaint is to be sent to Vildmark i Värmland within 14 days after the arrangement has ended. If the guest and Vildmark i Värmland disagrees, the guest can turn to the National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN), whose decision Vildmark i Värmland will yield.

Personal data act

When paying for the arrangement to Vildmark i Värmland the guest agrees to that all personal data may be used for internal administration purposes by Vildmark i Värmland. Vildmark i Värmland will take all necessary measurements to assure that the personal data of the guest is treated safely.

Force Majeure

Both parties have the rights to withdraw from the booked stay if it can not be executed due to war, natural disasters, labour disputes, major disruption of water or energy supply, outbreak of fire, flooding or any other similar major event that precludes the stay from being completed, i.e. events that the organizer cannot foresee or influence when the agreement was made. During these circumstances the organizer is not obliged to pay any indemnity fees or other penalties.

Other

Contractual and legal relationship between guest and Vildmark in Värmland is solely based on Swedish law.
